Chris is a Project Manager at Schuchart/Dow who is as passionate about people and relationships as he is fascinated by the design of a house and how it will all come together. After graduating from the University of Washington with a Master’s Degree in Architecture, he joined Schuchart/Dow. He immediately began working on several key projects, bringing his enthusiasm and easy-going attitude to succesfully coordinate subcontractors, develop schedules, manage quality control processes and communicate with design teams and clients.
When Chris was in school, he volunteered for UW Habitat for Humanity and has worked as a laborer, carpenter and finish carpenter. He loves most when he can combine his architectural training and background as a carpenter to solve the challenges that can arise in inique and complex projects.
Chris spends his spare time running to the mountains to fish, ski or hike. He’s got an impeccable eye for detail (great for quality control on the job) that extends to every aspect of his life – from cooking to setting up camp to spotting a hawk from miles away.
